ZTE is a widely used brand for wireless routers and modems. They are known as the perfect device for your home WiFi network. You can also customize your router by simply logging in to the page. The page (also known as the ) is the control center from where you can tweak the default router configurations.

There are many things you can do through the like changing the WiFi name and , setting up s, viewing usage data, and many more things. In this simple guide, I will explain all the important steps required to to the ZTE router page.

Step-1: Connect the Device to the ZTE Router

Firstly, you have to connect your device (Windows or Mac PC/Android or iOS device) to the ZTE router via ethernet cable or WiFi.  I’d recommend using a wired connection as it will be more stable and secure, while the WiFi connection might pose some issues.

Once connected, check if you are able to browse the web. Open a browser and visit any website like YouTube, Facebook, etc to know the status. If you can’t, try restarting the router.

Step-2: Find the Default Gateway IP of your Router

Once you are connected, the next thing is knowing the default gateway IP of your router. It is the IP address assigned by the manufacturers that allow you to access the page. ZTE routers two public IP addresses as their default gateway IP. One is 192.168.0.1, and the other is192.168.1.1.

If you have a ZTE router, 98 out of 100 times, your device will be having either of the following IP. If you still want to be sure, just turn on your Windows PC, head over to Command Prompt, and run the ipconfig command.

Step-3: Open the Router page and Sign in

Once you have the default gateway IP, open a web browser, enter it in the URL bar and click on the search icon. Alternatively, you can also visit this link (for 192.168.0.1) or this one (192.168.1.1). You can use any web browser like Chrome, Safari, Edge, etc for this.

Wait for the ZTE router page to open. Once it does, enter the router name and in the given blank boxes. If you don’t know these, try entering the default name- , and default - (both in lower case).

After that, click on the ‘’ button, and you’ll be able to get into the interface (given that you entered the correct router credentials).
